Merry Christmas...

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all well!
I'm back today with a new Christmas card to share with you.
I used Wild Rose Studio stamp called Penguin with Present.

The beautiful Christams papers are all from Maja Design's collections.
Paprs used are: I Wish to play in the snow, I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish we will  deck the halls and Shades of Winter red for card shape.

I cut out the image with LDRS Holly Wreath die.

I coloured the image with Distress inks and Zig Clean Colore Real brushes.

I'll be back next Friday!

Sarah and Winter Friends

Another set of Christmas cards that are already out and in the mail.  YAY!!  I feel so successful!!  LOL!!  I've used Maja Design papers from last year called "I Wish" and reason being is because there is still stock on some papers and the 6 x 6 pad.  Ooooo I love the weight of Maja's papers and they're so nice to work with!!

Here is Whimsy's "Winter Friends" and lots of pretties from the Noor shop.  There are some really neat new Scrapiniec pieces called "Nordic Sweater Borders" and each card got their own but dang I only took pics of two.  So at the bottom of these two cards are trees and large X and O's.  I've dabbed them with Tim Holtz ink cubes and then clear embossed them.  (Sorry for the dark pics!)

And here's Whimsy's "Sarah" adorned with some gorgeous WOC flowers from the shop.  I made some foiliage using some green Foamiran and Fantasy's "After the Rain Twig" die.

How do you like the wreaths?  They are from Wycinanka called "Mr. & Mrs. Wreath".  I colored them with my Tim Holtz distress marker directly to the chipboard.  After they dried, I then embossed them with some clear embossing powder and topped them off with some red Stickles to the hearts.  After the Stickles dried I brushed them with some gesso...actually I brushed the whole card with gesso once complete.

So I feel like a card making maniac and I'm still not done!!  I think I've made close to 40 cards and only have one left for Christmas.  However, then I have more I'd like to make for New Year's.  LOL!  Well, we'll see how burnt out I am after all this as to how many actually get done.  hee hee

I hope you enjoyed the double posts today!!  I will have more for you next week!

Hugs!

One of a Kind Snowglobe

Good day!  Today I'm sharing a bunch of cards I made using Maja Design papers called "Joyous Winterdays" and although these all look the same, if you look closer, they're  not.  Welllll, because when you start doing more than 2 of something you quickly discover that you don't have the same supplies for all of them.  LOL!!  No problem and that's what I like about "stash".  😀  Oh but the border die on each card is the same.  YAY!!  LOL!  That's the new Joy die called "Ornamental Border" die.  Kind of appropriate for this time of year I think!

I was so excited to see the new die come out from Joy "One of a Kind Snowglobe" because I knew I would use it to make a multiple bunch of cards.  I know I'll be using it again as I see so many things that could fit in the globe other than the city.  It could even be used for birthday cards throughout the year.

Here is some foliage using Whimsy's "Christmas Branches".  This set is awesome because it's fully loaded with all kinds of leaf dies.  I don't think I'll ever need any more for the xmas season!  I've also used some cherry blossoms and pixie blooms.  Some flowers may not be in the store in the colors I've used but there is a huge selection so you can always find something you like!

Oh and did you notice the pearl trim I used on them?  I think I have 3 different kinds there.  Anything with pearls and you've got my attention!!  Pearls and glitter.  LOL!!

Thanks for dropping by and see you again soon!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Fun with Frozen Tilda

Good Morning,

I was so shocked on Sunday to wake up to Snow, we hardly get it down the south of the UK but sadly when we do everything grinds to a halt. I live out in the sticks so we were stranded as the road both ways were blocked & to top it off we didn't have any electric until 3pm which for me was a tragedy as I couldn't use my coffee maker.

With all the snow around I thought this new little Tilda was the perfect stamp to use. She is called Frozen Tilda & is from the new Christmas Party Collection. I have coloured her up using Inktense Pencils.

As you can see I have been making more Poinsettias out of foamiran, I have made a couple of smaller flowers as well all using white foamiran.

My hubby looked at this card & said that he thought Tilda looked like she was peering around the flowers & when I look at it I can see what he means.

Thank you for stopping by & pop back tomorrow for more gorgeous inspiration from the DT

Have a super day

Hugs

Emma xx

Mini Blue Flower Tutorial

Hello everyone!

I'm here with my new tutorial for you!
Today I'm going to show you how to make those gentle mini flowers which I've used to decorate my Bоuble Christmas Card!

 So let's start!

First of all, you need a piece of  Zephyr Silk Foam! As I said previously it's very soft and easily manipulated foam and you don't need any iron to shape it!

You already know that I'm a happy owner of the Whimsy Stamps Rose Petal Flower Die Set and I would love to use it again. These dies give such unlimited possibilities!!!

Cut out 3 petals of the smallest die shape.

Using light blue and yellow oil pastels from your set, colour the petals like this on both sides:

Now it's time to shape our petals. You can make this by gently stretching the foam with your fingers on the top side of the petal. I did it in the three points along the edge:

In this picture below you can see the folds in progress:

Next step is to fold 2 double head stamens and glue their strings together.  In this way you'll create a little stem.

After, assemble the petals around the stamens overlapping. You can see how can I adhered
the first petal...

the second one...

 and the third one.

There is my whole little flower.

And some more:

Have a lovely week all of you!

Hugs,

Little Angel

Hello everyone,

Tracy here sharing a card I made using lots of yummy goodies.  The image was cut out using LDRS Creative Fancy Rectangles and Layers die set, one of my favourites,  Snowy Day Border Die Set.

I also made some poinsettias using Zephyr Silk Foam and added beautiful      centres and finished with a wax cord bow.

I have used some new lace in store and Scrapiniec Holly Jolly holly leaves from the Large Wreath set.  I also used the 3D balls in large and medium and a dusting of snow tex.

I also added a rhinestone crystal snowflake and the LDRS Creative Word CHRISTMAS which was diecut onto white shrink film and shrunk with my heat gun.

Hope you like it.

Hugs Tracy x

A winter card with snow globe

 Hello everyone!

I am totally a person for warm and sunny weather. In winter, when it's snowing, an icy wind is blowing I love to look out my window and enjoy the nature but I don't really like being outdoors. But when it comes to crafting I love to add a lot of frost to my creations. And so I also added some to the card I am sharing with you today.

For the base I used one of the sheets from the Winter Feelings #59 paper pad by Studio Light. It's full of fun and frosty designs. To add even more frost I used Frantage Chunky White on the edges to add a frost pattern.

Across this paper I've put a piece of the Rebecca lace.

As the main element of my card I didn't go with an image this time but this snowglobe. It's made using the snowglobe die by Joycrafts. I've die cut the houses from light and dark grey cardstock and added another layer of white for some snow. The paper with the falling snow is another sheet from the Winter Feelings paper pad. I also added a few of the stars confetti here.

The frame and the bottom of the snowglobe were cut from silver glitter cardstock. It goes so great with an icy color scheme. To make the delicate pattern of the bottom pop out a bit more I used white cardstock behind the bottom.

On the left side I've put some trees behind the snowglobe. I used the birch trees die by Joycrafts to cut them and a white gelly marker to paint in the details through the holes in the die.

This cute Tilda with Snowheart by Magnolia is an older image but I thought it goes so perfectly with my card, I just had to use her.

On the bottom right of my card I've used some turquoise wax cord, white pixie blossoms and some of the white 5mm glass stamen. I only used the ends here, glueing the directly onto my card. They remind of me of ice covered berries.

On the top right I've put one of the Paper Art Labels by Dutch Doobadoo behind the snowglobe. It looks like  a moon to me and just fits into the scene. I've tied some turquoise ribbon to it and added more berries and a die cut star to it.

Wishing all of you a happy sunday!
 Hugs,
Kathrin
