Wonderful Tilda

I'm back again with another card using Maja's "Celebration" collection.  I love that these papers always come with 3 or 4 different colors so you get a huge variety to play with.  Have you seen Marianne's new die "Creatable Lace Border"?!  It's the one running vertical, cut from white cardstock.  It's quite wide so an amazing piece to use for layering!  I hope to show more of it next time I use it.  LOL!

I love making these bouquets, you know it!!!  hee hee But they are more fun WITH THE BON BON'S!   You know how much I love these little things so you'll probably see them on many many more cards to come.  I've added some sisal behind all of it ....OH!!  And have you seen the new colors of sisal in the store?  FUN FUN FUN!!  I have mine coming what about you?  I also added some metal leaves, which are amazing because they are so bendable and you can shape them any way you want without breaking them.

Isn't she sweet?!!  Magnolia's "Wonderful Tilda" and wonderful she is!

So this lace heart actually comes as a length of hearts but I chose to cut one off and use it on it's own.  The glass heart is filled with glitter ... or as my card story goes, it's fairy dust for later.  LOL!

I hope you have a great weekend and get in some crafty time!!

Thanks for stopping by!

All you need is love and a pet

Good Morning,

I have been having another play with the New Pion Designs Papers Our Furry Friends. I do have a little dog that does resemble the little cutie in the image, I also have a cat who in her old age has turned into a miserable cantankerous bundle of fur but i would change her.

I have used 2 images from the Our Furry Friends Images from the Past 12x12 paper & have added some Tiny Pom Pom trim in baby pick to the tops of the images & some Wave Rhinestone pearl trim the the bottom.

The sentiment is also on the Images from the Past sheet & I have used a Memo Pin to hold the sentiment.

I do love these gorgeous pet images they are just super sweet.

Thank you for stopping by & pop back tomorrow for some more inspiration from the DT

Easy Foamiran Flowers

Hello everyone!

I was asked several times to make a tutorial for easy and quick foamiran flowers suitable for scrapbook projects.
Here we go!

You'll need:

2 pieces of Fantasy openwork rose die set (the second large die with four petals and this one with three petals),
a flower making tool set,
two colours of foamiran (I chose strips of antic white and peach),
a glue gun + glue sticks,
a piece of kitchen sponge,
an oil pastel (I chose dark purple),
some stamens,
an iron,
scissors and
a soft pad (could be a kitchen sponge).

Cut out the petals. You need just one of the each size and colour.

Fold the smaller piece and shade its edges as it's shown on the picture.

Make small slits (3 or 4 mm) between petals of the white part towards its centre.

Heat and fold the small piece using a flower making tool.

After heating and bending your small part should look like this:

Now it's time to shape our big petals. Warm each petal separately and using  flower making tool, push the petal with the ball into a soft surface to curve it.

As a result of these activities you should have those two shapes.
The next step is to prepare a bunch of stamens (3 double headed are pretty enough).

Attach the stamens into a small piece of florist wire and add the petals successively piercing them in the centre as it's shown on the picture.

Apply a little drop of glue between them and gently stick the petals. Don't pull the stamens to the very bottom of the petal.

Now your mini flower is ready! You can stick it onto your card or some other scrapbook project!

Thank you very much for coming again!
Wishing you a wonderful week!

Moments to Remember

Hi All, so I decided to make an Album.  I decorated all the chipboard pages, leaving the backs plain to add photo's later and any journaling to be added to the decorated pages.   I have used the beautiful Pion Design Days Gone By.  All the links for the products used are as always, at the end of the post.

The Flowers on the front are made from Foamiran, distress inks for coloration, vintage matt white stamens and the Whimsy Hellbore Die Set.

I used a couple of Stempleglede Stamps.  One of them you can see the flourish on the right hand side of the page.  I also added a butterfly and pen nib.

I made the envelope using a Dutch Doobadoo template and either journaling or another photo can be added in here.

Hope you like it :)

Hello everyone!

Sorry, I'm a little late:).
The world is very much species of roses. The last time I saw something like this. I made this rose with Iranian foamiran and coloured with oil pastels.
I hope you like it:)

See you, Beata:)

That's today's inspiration.
Card from Birdsong papers and on it artistic (I hope so) mess.

I painted this lace with, I think, really brave colour.
I straightened spirals and cut Pleated Ruffle Trim.

I also painted flowers and tangled everything with Sizal.
I put some butterflies on top of everything.

I wish you a great weekend and see you next week.
