Wedding Eustoma

Good morning everyone!

Wedding is always an important point in our lives so today I decided to show you something I've made recently.

When I was making this small flower arrangement I was thinking for something soft and delicate inspired from the monochrome vintage French style!

To achieve the ethereal texture of the flower petals, this time I used Zephyr Silk Foam.  It can be manipulated easily by using your hands without heat treatment or ironing. I was surprise how easy the petals can be rolled and shaped. The result was more than stunning :-)

To cut the petals I used Whimsy Rose Petal Flower Die.
I chose pale purple and lime green because those colours are one of the most favorites for the brides, besides this, they bring sophisticated beauty.

You can see a piece of enchanting lace in the background, called Elenor, which you can find on the

Last finishing touches...I added some blossoms of a dogwood tree!

I hope you like my small bridal bouquet!
Thank you for visiting!

You're Awsome

Hello and good morning my dear crafty friends. I recently made another card with the gorgeous Maja Design Denim & Friends papers. I also tried a new technique I haven't tried before. And I must say I'm quite satisfied how it turned out :-)

A close up of the flower bouquet; made of paper and Foamiran...

the stitches border from Scrapiniec gives a perfect accent to my card...

and a little fairy is living in the flowers too...

Thank you so much for your visit. Have a happy day and bye for now.
Hugs, Karina

Fall is in the Air

Hello everyone!

Oh well, it's sad to say goodbye to summer. But looking outside my window I have to admit that it's really gone by now. But that also means fall with all its pretty colors has arrived. And those are what I used for today's card.

I love the mix of warm colors, of greens and reds and oranges and browns. Since I am not a very colorful person - not only in crafting but also in my home style, my clothing etc. - I still try to not overload my cards with colors. But fall just requires a special amount of different ones. And since they are all soft I am happy with it.

Don't you just love this paper with the leaves print by Pion Design as much as I do? It looks like the wind just whirled them all up.

This image by Dreamerland is such a happy one. I can imagine those two riding through piles of fallen leaves or puddles fall rain created on the streets.

They were colored in with Copics, trying to pick the colors from the papers.

I also created a little garden behind a fence that those two ride along.

There's some lace on the paper, then a laser chipboard flower that reminded me of those beautiful fall asters. I've cut a piece of the wooden fence off and glued it on top of the chipboard. And can you go without flowers? I only used one white pixie blossom here but added a metall leave and two of the 5 mm glass steamens. They are not only great for putting into a flower, but also for using them just as they are.

 Enjoy your sunday, everyone!
Hugs, Kathrin

Compositions with roses

I love flowers, and I think most of all roses.  In my next inspiration I've prepared compositions with roses. They can be used for hair decoration, box... whatever yowant.  The flowers are made of zephyr foam and colored with pastels.  The stamens and colored petals have been painted with pastels as well.

See you:)
